Season performance
SEASONSelected season · qualified standing
Skaters get one combined score built from five parts: contextual offense (25%), contextual defense (25%), individual chance creation (20%), finishing (10%), and assisting (20%). These cover five-on-five, power play, penalty kill, and other situations using fixed baselines for each position. The season rate is the summed score × 60, divided by rated minutes (minutes with both goalies on the ice). Goalies use their verified five-on-five stopping value × 100, divided by verified shots on goal. None of this blends in a player’s previous season.
Calculation
Add up a player’s graded game contributions, then divide by the minutes that count (rated workload). Rank and percentile compare qualified players at the same position.
Note. Season rank measures results against other qualified players at the same position, adjusted for workload. If coverage is missing, or there are fewer than 30 qualified peers, no headline rank is shown. The older 0–100 legacy season score is still shown but secondary: 50 is its fixed baseline, not the average player. Early-season results can swing a lot.
