Per-60 rate stats

The base conversion rule used across IceSheet leaderboards. It takes a counting stat and scales it to a 60-minute rate so players with different workloads can be compared fairly.

Note. Use the same formula for goals, points, shot attempts, xG, and most other counting stats once you have the right ice-time denominator.

Goals scored normalized to 60 minutes of even-strength ice time. It is a standard way to compare scorers with different workloads.

Note. Anything above roughly 1.2 G/60 over a real sample is elite at five-on-five.

Goals plus first assists per 60 minutes. It strips out secondary assists to focus on direct offensive involvement.

Note. P1/60 is often better than total points per 60 when you want a cleaner playmaking signal.

Total points normalized to 60 minutes. Compare it alongside P1/60 to see how much of the production is primary versus secondary involvement.

Individual expected goals normalized to 60 minutes. It is one of the best forward-looking offensive rate stats because it removes much of the finishing variance.

Note. ixG/60 usually tells you more about future goal-scoring threat than raw G/60.

On-ice expected goals generated per 60 minutes. It reflects the offensive chance creation rate of a player’s line or on-ice environment.

On-ice expected goals allowed per 60 minutes. Lower is better, and it often matters as much as offensive rate for two-way players.

On-ice shot attempts generated per 60 minutes. It measures pace and attacking volume rather than share.

Individual shot attempts per 60 minutes. It is a cleaner measure of shooting activity than raw shot totals.

Goalie goals saved above expected normalized to 100 shots faced. It allows fairer comparison across different workloads.

Note. Above +1.5 is strong and above +2.5 over a real sample is elite, but the number of shots faced always matters.
